Wryneck
Wryneck is a condition where head is drawn to one side because of the contraction of the sternomastoid muscle in the neck on that side. The face is rotated over the other shoulder.

Symptoms of Wryneck
- Head drawn to one side, the face rotated over the other shoulder
- Neck movements are curtailed
- The sternomastoid muscle is a solid band
- Painless
This condition may be present on waking up, but should resolve itself in a few days.
