Trigger Finger Condition
Trigger Finger is a condition resulted from the inflammation of the tendons of joints of the fingers or thumb become locked in flexion, the bent position.
Trigger Finger Condition Symptoms
- Digit cannot move, it is fixed in flexion
- May resolve spontaneously or may need surgical correction
- Small tender swollen area on the palm by the affected digit
- Area clicks when the digit is moved
This condition may resolve by itself, although surgical treatment may be needed.
